Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at the civil ceremony on was held in December. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to fans of the series during an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning to production. Fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in the year 2013.
